Edition 2025 — Historic Fair
The 16th edition of the Historic Fair Bochum once again brought thousands of nostalgia lovers to the Jahrhunderthalle in 2025. The antique carousels from the late 19th and early 20th centuries, the themed weekends Steampunk and Rock'n'Roll, and the unique industrial backdrop made the February event a fixture in the Ruhr area's event calendar.
The 16th Historic Fair in 2025 continued the success story of Bochum's nostalgia funfair. Three weekends, antique rides from the collections of several European showman families, and a themed program featuring Steampunk and Rock'n'Roll attracted visitors from across the Ruhr area and far beyond.
Since its premiere in 2010, the event has established itself as Europe's largest indoor nostalgia funfair. It combines historic showman culture with the industrial heritage of the Jahrhunderthalle — a concept unique in this form worldwide.
