In 2025, the market remained true to its medieval staging. In the glow of torches and fire baskets, potters, blacksmiths, leatherworkers, and candlemakers presented their crafts — a deliberate counter-world to the commercial mainstream Christmas market. Accompanied by hurdy-gurdy sounds and live medieval music, the market location became one of the most atmospheric Advent destinations in Thuringia.
