In 2025, the Himmelfahrtsmarkt again took place around Ascension Day on Kempten's Königsplatz. For over ten days, the spring fair offered more than 20 rides, shooting galleries, game stalls, and numerous food stands, complemented by the traditional market on Hildegardplatz and in Stadtpark.
The 2025 Himmelfahrtsmarkt continued the long tradition of Kempten's spring fair: around Ascension Day, Königsplatz transformed into an amusement park for over ten days with more than 20 rides and a wide culinary selection.
As every year, the market was ceremoniously opened by the City Band, and the accompanying market on Hildegardplatz and in Stadtpark attracted numerous visitors. The Himmelfahrtsmarkt reaffirmed its status as a fixed spring event for Kempten and the Allgäu region.
