Edition 2025 — Heumadener Volkslauf
The 14th Heumadener Volkslauf 2025 took place on Sunday, July 20, 2025 — featuring the three established distances of 5.5/10.3/21.1 km through the districts of Heumaden, Riedenberg, and Kemnat. Afterwards, the traditional TSV Heumaden Family Sports Festival with club demonstrations and catering.
Established Fun Run 2025
In 2025, the Heumadener Volkslauf once again confirmed its firm place in the Stuttgart sports calendar. In summer temperatures, hundreds of participants from all over the greater Stuttgart area ran the three distances — the 5.5 km route as usual being the most popular (beginners, families), while the Sanwald Half Marathon continued to be a magnet for ambitious hobby runners.
Dress Rehearsal for the 125th Anniversary in 2026
The 2025 edition indirectly served as a dress rehearsal for the grand anniversary celebration in 2026, which coincides with the 125th anniversary of TSV Heumaden. The club officials used the experience gained to expand the 2026 program — a detailed program will follow in spring 2026.
