In 2025, the Catholic Burschenverein Immergrün Schondra also celebrated its traditional Herz-Jesu-Fest with a festive church service in the parish church and a subsequent barbecue. Association members and community citizens celebrated together a central festival of traditions in the market town of Schondra.
As in previous years, the Catholic Burschenverein Immergrün Schondra celebrated its Herz-Jesu-Fest in 2025. The festive church service in Schondra parish church opened the festival evening, after which association members, families, and community citizens gathered at the festival grounds for the traditional barbecue.
The festival once again embodied the vibrant traditions in the market town of Schondra and in the Lower Franconian district of Bad Kissingen. The Burschenverein, one of the oldest in the region, has been preserving this tradition for over 110 years and passing it on to younger generations.
