Overview

The Hersbruck Christmas Market 2025 — the 30th anniversary edition since its premiere in 1994 — took place from November 27 to December 23 at the Upper and Lower Market squares. Thursday to Saturday 4 PM–10 PM, Sunday 2 PM–10 PM. A diverse stage program with regional artists and choirs, Hersbruck gingerbread, mulled wine, Franconian bratwurst, and a children's carousel provided a classic Franconian Advent atmosphere.

In 2025, the Hersbruck Christmas Market celebrated its 30th edition. As in previous years, the event focused on a conscious contrast to the large-scale operations in Nuremberg: smaller, quieter, more personal, with a clear focus on regional exhibitors and the stage program of regional choirs and singing groups.

The market traditionally opened with Sunday shopping from 1 PM to 6 PM in Hersbruck's city center. Over the approximately four weeks, there was a changing stage program; the children's carousel spun its rounds daily. Specialties such as Hersbruck gingerbread, mulled wine in handcrafted mugs, Franconian bratwurst, candied almonds, and honey products characterized the culinary offerings of the market.
