Edition 2025 — Herdecker Weihnachtszauber
The Herdecker Weihnachtszauber 2025, on the 1st Advent weekend, once again transformed the Herdecke city center between Viehmarktbrunnen and Kampsträter Platz into an Advent market. With mulled wine, arts and crafts, live music, and Sunday shopping, the market opened the season in the small town on the Hengsteysee.
The 2025 edition continued the tradition of the Herdecker Heimat- und Verkehrsverein and once again brought Advent atmosphere to the compact city center. The mix of regional offerings, a small stage program, and Sunday shopping proved to be a reliable format once again — an alternative to the large Christmas markets of the surrounding Ruhr area metropolises.
