On October 3, 2025, German Unity Day, the 17th edition of the Herbstmarkt am Speicher XI took place. Around 100 market traders offered regional harvest produce, cheese, sausage, honey, wine, spices, and autumnal arts and crafts in the Überseestadt from 11 am to 5 pm. Thousands of Bremen residents used the public holiday for a relaxed market Sunday by the water.

17th Edition on the Public Holiday

The 17th edition of the Herbstmarkt am Speicher XI attracted thousands of visitors to Überseestadt again in 2025. In late summer, mild weather prevailed as around 100 market stalls presented their goods around the long brick warehouse.

Market Variety

The offerings ranged from fresh fruit, vegetables, and organic products to cheese, sausage, bread, honey, and jam, as well as wines, spices, and teas. In addition, there was classic autumn arts and crafts: warm clothing, ceramics, leather goods, and light objects.

Public Holiday Atmosphere in Überseestadt

The market specifically took advantage of the German Unity Day holiday. Many families combined their visit with a walk along the Europahafen and a stop at one of the many restaurants in Überseestadt. The good connections via tram and bus, as well as the free parking at the wholesale market, ensured a relaxed journey.
