The 2025 edition of the Herbstmarkt took place on Sunday, September 21, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the town center. As every year, around 40 stalls lined Stöffler-Platz, Oberdorfstraße, and Golterstraße — a classic market Sunday on the 3rd Sunday in September, which is a firm Köngen tradition.

Hirschstraße was, as usual, the venue for the children's flea market — a parallel event popular across generations, which operates without registration and without a stall fee. The municipality of Köngen remained the organizer, and admission was free.
