Herbstmarkt am Blattl-Sonntag Traunstein

In 2025, the combination of the town square market, the large flea market, and the Sunday with open shops once again proved to be an important autumn event in Traunstein's Old Town. The regional dialect term „Blattl-Sonntag“ has been preserved for generations and is part of the city's self-description.

The flea market, with private sellers, clubs, and schools, extended across the upper Bahnhofstraße, Marienstraße, and Maxplatz — a stretch of several hundred meters that visually and atmospherically shapes the day.
