Overview

The Herbstkirmes Rheine 2025 took place from October 17 to 20 on Elisabeth- and Emstorplatz. Family Day on Friday, Sunday Shopping, and a free bus shuttle between the festival grounds and the city center were part of the established program. Thousands of visitors from the northern Münsterland region came to Rheine's city center for four days – an event that is firmly part of the city's autumn calendar.

The 2025 edition continued the Münsterland Kirmes tradition. Modern rides, classic stalls, food stands, and the established Sunday Shopping in Rheine's city center characterized the weekend.

The showmen traditionally set up their rides and stalls on Elisabethplatz and Emstorplatz. High-flying rides, Ferris wheel classics, shooting galleries, traditional food stalls with bratwurst, potato pancakes, candy apples, and almonds – the proven Münsterland Kirmes program. The free bus shuttle ran between the festival grounds and the city center; Sunday Shopping combined the Volksfest with a city stroll.
