In 2025, the Herbstkirchweih also took place on the Sunday after St. Gallus' Day on the market square of Zell. All day, the market with traders and stallholders gathered locals and guests from the northern Fichtelgebirge for the traditional autumnal market activities.
The 2025 Herbstkirchweih was celebrated on October 19th, all day on the market square of Zell im Fichtelgebirge, following the established rule of "Sunday after October 16th". As every year, the market and stallholders filled the square in the town centre, and the market town of Zell ensured a varied market atmosphere to conclude the market season before winter. No stall or pitch fees were charged in 2025 either.
