Overview

The 2025 autumn regional market took place, as every year, in early October in Tübingen's old town. Around 100 exhibitors from the region presented Swabian specialties, arts and crafts, and plants — from Tübingen apple juice and Alb lentils to natural cosmetics and medicinal herbs. A beautiful tradition that cultivates the close relationship between the university city and the agricultural region around the Swabian Alb.

In 2025, Tübingen's old town was once again transformed into a large regional market for a day. The market square, Holzmarkt, and the old town alleys were filled with around 100 exhibitors from the region — farm shops, cheese dairies, beekeepers, artisans, gardeners.

The motto 'Regional is brilliant!' has been maintained for years: only regional products, personally presented by the producers. This makes the Tübingen autumn regional market one of the most authentic market days in the region — and a popular occasion to spend an autumn Saturday in the old town.
