Overview

In 2025, the Heimfelder Schützenverein again celebrated its Vogelschießen as the final highlight of the season in southern Hamburg. Three days of program with Zapfenstreich, children's festival, summer party, king's shooting, and festive ball on the festival grounds on Heimfelder Straße — Sarah Moysen and her court led the club through the festive year as Queen.

The 2025 edition continued the tradition unbroken since 1890. It began on Friday with the Grand Zapfenstreich in front of the Friedrich-Ebert-Halle. Saturday followed with the children's festival in the afternoon and the Summer Beats Party in the evening, with DJ Crazy Paddy behind the turntables.

Sunday was marked by the king's shooting in the morning, a festive dinner at noon, and the king's proclamation in the evening, followed by a free-admission festive ball. As always, the Heimfelder Vogelschießen marked the end of the Harburg shooting season — and the cozy transition into late summer.
