The 661st Heimensteiner Kirmes took place in 2025 for Pentecost. Four days of folk festival with amusement rides, a festival tent, dance evenings, and the traditional parade on Pentecost Monday through the old town of Heiligenstadt.
661st Heimensteiner Kirmes — Review 2025
The 661st edition of the Heimensteiner Kirmes in 2025 once again attracted thousands of residents and guests to Heilbad Heiligenstadt. The Heimensteiner Männer- und Burschenverein 1932 e.V. organized the four festival days on a voluntary basis, and the parade on Pentecost Monday marched through the historic old town of the Eichsfeld district capital — a tradition that has remained unbroken for over 650 years.
