The 2025 edition marked 76 years of Heimatfest Bornstedt. A parade, knightly games, and dance nights characterized the weekend.
In 2025, the Heimatfest ran for its usual four days at the castle ruins. The 'Ritterschaft der Burg zu Bornstedt' brought the Middle Ages back to life, and evenings were spent dancing in the festival tent.
