Overview

The 2025 edition of the Heilstätter Weihnachtsmarkt took place on December 13 and 14, 2025 — from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m. each day. Around 30 exhibitors set up their stalls in front of the historic bathhouse, offering everything from basket weaving and wood art to jewelry and textile and natural cosmetic products. The scent of mulled wine and the smoke from the wood-fired oven created the atmosphere; children could enjoy pony rides and participate in craft activities.

The Advent weekend 2025 in Beelitz-Heilstätten attracted thousands of visitors to the historic sanatorium setting despite the wet and cold weather. Guests traveled from Berlin, Potsdam, and the entire Brandenburg region, many by regional train, which stops directly near the market.

The exhibitors offered manufactory goods with a focus on traditional craftsmanship. Food included bratwurst, crêpes, smoked salmon, herb-roasted meat, and Maultaschen, along with mulled wine and punch. Bread came fresh from the wood-fired oven, and stick cake was shaped over an open fire. Fire bowls, fairy lights, and a subtle musical program provided the typical Heilstätter Advent atmosphere.
