2025 Review

The 2025 edition once again confirmed the Heilbronner Hafenmarkt as Southern Germany's most important pottery destination in October. Over two or three days, the participating potters presented a wide range of craftsmanship — from simple everyday ceramics to artistic studio works and specialised techniques like Raku and salt firing. The hands-on pottery wheels for children were, as always, the most emotional element — young visitors created their first own pottery pieces under the guidance of experienced professionals. The tradition dating back to 1487 makes the Hafenmarkt a unique blend of craft history and contemporary ceramic culture.
