Overview

The XIII Heavy Harder Harbour took place on December 14, 2024, starting at 7:30 PM at Speicher Husum. Four bands performed: ABROGATION (German-language metal, cult since 1999), EXTINCT (Thrash Metal from Kiel), FÅL (atmospheric Post-Black-Metal with ties to North Frisian mythology), and STAHL (Death-/Thrash-Metal from Ahrensburg).

The XIII edition of the HHH series exemplified the event's concept: four bands, four different styles of heavy music, a deliberately regionally rooted lineup. ABROGATION as headliner with the mythical significance of the first German-language metal album "Handwerk des Todes" (1999), EXTINCT as the Thrash representative from Kiel with old-school influences, FÅL as a Post-Black-Metal trio with lyrics about North Sea mythology, and STAHL as Death-/Thrash veterans from the Hamburg metropolitan area. A dense, atmospheric night at Speicher Husum — and a typical representative of the HHH series.
