Overview

The 60th anniversary Havelfest 2025 in Brandenburg an der Havel was one of the largest in the festival's history. Four stages, an international program, dragon boat races, and a spectacular fireworks display marked the six-decade anniversary. Over 100,000 visitors came from Brandenburg, Berlin, and Saxony-Anhalt to the Havel city.

The 60th Havelfest 2025 was the grand anniversary celebration: six decades of the "biggest Volksfest for the city's residents" were celebrated from June 20 to 22 with an expanded program. Regional bands played alongside national acts on four stages, and the dragon boat races were held with particular grandeur in this anniversary year.

A spectacular fireworks show on Saturday evening, a parade through the old town, and the closing concert by the Brandenburg Symphony Orchestra formed the supporting program. With over 100,000 visitors, the anniversary confirmed the Havelfest's position as the most important Volksfest in West Brandenburg — the foundation upon which the 61st edition in 2026 will build.
