Edition 2025 — Harvest Festival Walsleben
The Walsleben Harvest Festival 2025 took place in mid-October in the village. The harvest crown, parade of floats, and elementary school stage program characterised the day — a Brandenburg village tradition maintained for generations in the Ostprignitz-Ruppin district. Co-organisation by the elementary school am Mühlenweg ensured the participation of several generations in 2025 as well.
In 2025, the municipality of Walsleben continued its Harvest Festival tradition. The village community gathered on the festival grounds, the floats were lovingly decorated, the harvest crown was handed over, and the children from the Grundschule am Mühlenweg performed their own program. Catering by local clubs, a family program, and an evening dance rounded off the day. The Harvest Festival is one of the central identity-building events for the Walsleben village community and is a firm fixture in the event calendar of the Amt Temnitz.
