Review 2025

The 2025 edition once again demonstrated the strength of the Heimatsommer concept: without grand staging, without admission fees, but with authentic folk culture and a dedicated community of clubs and associations that support the food, drinks, and stage program. The Oberharmersbach traditional costume group, music bands, and musical acts alternated over the four evenings, and the Rathausplatz was filled each time with regular visitors from the valley and summer tourists seeking the authentic Black Forest experience. The Alte Mühle as an accompanying attraction and the Vesper specialties from the clubs shaped the experience. Weather-related cancellations remained the exception in 2025.
