Overview

The Hardter Frühkirmes 2025 took place as usual on the festival grounds at Glockenstraße in the Mönchengladbach district of Hardt. Four festival days with carousels, dodgems, shooting galleries, food stalls, and the festival tent of the St. Nikolaus-Bruderschaft characterized the spring weekend. The Family Day on Thursday with free admission and reduced prices was particularly popular — the Hardter Kirmes is a fixed date in the Mönchengladbach district calendar.

In May 2025, the Hardter Frühkirmes once again attracted thousands of visitors from Mönchengladbach and the surrounding area. Glockenstraße transformed into a Kirmes mile with carousels, sweet and food stalls; the festival tent of the St. Nikolaus-Bruderschaft offered seating and a piece of Rhenish club life. The Family Day with free admission on Thursday set a special highlight and brought the younger generations to the festival grounds early. The spring fair thus remains an important part of Hardt's district identity.
