Overview
In 2025, more than 20 cultural institutions in Hamburg's Harburg district opened their doors for Harburg Culture Day. The Friedrich-Ebert-Halle, Helms-Museum, Harburg Theatre, Kunstleihe, and galleries invited visitors to exhibitions, guided tours, and special programs. "Art in the Shop Window" along Harburg's shopping streets complemented the program. The day concluded with a lantern parade and fireworks on Rathausplatz.
The 2025 edition continued the annual tradition: an afternoon that showcases the cultural diversity of the Harburg district. Over 20 institutions opened their doors, and "Art in the Shop Window" was displayed along the retail streets. Admission, as usual, was free.
Harburg Marketing e.V. was the organizer, as every year. The day once again affirmed Harburg district's claim to be recognized as a vibrant cultural hub – beyond Hamburg's major downtown events.
