Edition 2025 — Happy Life
In 2025, Happy Life Open Air had not yet taken place – the premiere is announced for June 13, 2026. The festival is a new creation by organizer Happy Life Events, which aims for a 90s/2000s-oriented target audience in the Nuremberg/Franconia region with its pop and rave concept. The venue from the start: the festival grounds at Nuremberg Airport's parking lot P31.
Before the First Edition
Happy Life Open Air was conceived in 2025 as a concept for a new Nuremberg festival format. Organizer Happy Life Events deliberately planned the premiere for 2026 in conjunction with the emerging "Festival Summer" at Nuremberg Airport, which bundles several open-air dates at a central location. Therefore, there was no separate edition in 2025.
Connection to Franconian Festival Culture
Even before the first festival day, the region around Nuremberg offered a dense summer program: Rock im Park, Klassik Open Air, Bardentreffen, Africa Festival in Würzburg, and many others. Happy Life explicitly expands this landscape in 2026 with a 90s/2000s format featuring live bands and rave DJs.
