Overview

The 26th Happy Days Dellwig 2025 took place in the usual five-day format on Donnerstraße. Despite changeable weather, the festival ran "peacefully, cheerfully, and beautifully," as organizer Renate Rendschmidt summarized after the closing weekend.

The Happy Days Dellwig 2025 (26th edition) were held as usual by the Dellwig Civic Association (BVV) in cooperation with Rendschmidt GmbH and Biergarten Dellwig. Five festival days with Kirmes amusement rides, stalls, live music, and a civic reception to kick things off. Despite changeable May weather in the Ruhr area, the Happy Days attracted tens of thousands of visitors from Essen and surrounding districts again. In her closing remarks, organizer Renate Rendschmidt thanked all associations, stallholders, and helpers. The Biergarten Dellwig remained open beyond the festival as always — a proven extension of the neighbourhood summer.
