Overview

The 2025 edition of the Hanukkah Market at the Jewish Museum Berlin opened on November 28, 2025, and ran through the first Advent weekend. In the glass courtyard of the old building on Lindenstraße, exhibitors from Israel and Germany set up stalls with arts and crafts, Judaica, kosher specialties, and Hanukkah items. Klezmer concerts, readings, a family program with children's tours, and puppet theater accompanied the market. Free admission. The 2025 edition continued the tradition as Berlin's most important Jewish Advent market.

With its opening on November 28, 2025, the traditional Hanukkah Market at the Jewish Museum Berlin began another season. In the glass courtyard of the old building, exhibitors from Israel and Germany offered arts and crafts, Judaica, and kosher specialties. The supporting program of Klezmer concerts, readings, workshops, and family events made the event, as every year, a fixture of Berlin's Advent culture – and a deliberate alternative to the predominantly Christian markets in Mitte. The 2025 edition led directly into the 2026 edition during the Advent season.
