Overview

The Handorfer Herbst, planned for September 28, 2025, had to be canceled for safety reasons. The Handorfer Kaufmannsgilde and the City of Münster could not implement a viable safety concept. An alternative program on a smaller scale was discussed.

The 2025 edition of the Handorfer Herbst did not take place. The organizers and the City of Münster announced the cancellation due to safety reasons — the required concept would have massively altered the character and logistics of the festival. In the weeks leading up to the planned date, possible alternatives were discussed, but the traditional large-scale festival on Handorfer Straße could not be held in its usual form.

Programme

The planned 2025 program with 160 craft stalls, a children's flea market, music, and showmen was canceled. The return in the usual scope is planned for 2026.
