Overview

The 30th summer edition of the Handgemacht market in Kappeln was a double anniversary: thirty times at the Schlei harbour, late summer weekend, around 50 exhibitors with unique pieces from North German crafts. The harbour area "Am Hafen" was filled for four days with thousands of visitors, and exhibitors reported very good business results.

30 Years of Handgemacht in Kappeln

With its 30th edition in 2025, the summer market marked an anniversary that underscores the long-standing connection between the series, the location, and its regular audience. Organiser Ingrid Berkau and her approximately 50 exhibitors once again filled the harbour area "Am Hafen" — four days of crafts in one of the most beautiful Schlei settings.

Programme

30th edition with the proven format: 50 exhibitors, Thursday to Sunday, 10:00 AM–7:00 PM, exclusively handmade unique pieces. The market area extended across the harbour area "Am Hafen" and the adjoining promenade.
