The 14th edition of the Handewitter Sommerlauf once again gathered runners from Schleswig-Holstein and Southern Jutland at the Wikinghalle Handewitt in 2025. With six distances and a wheelchair race, the format remained tried and tested — from the Bambini run to the half marathon.

2025 Review

The 14th Handewitter Sommerlauf in 2025 continued the tradition established in 2012. Several hundred runners from northern Schleswig-Holstein, the Flensburg region, and the Danish border area gathered at the Wikinghalle. The DLV-measured courses, the family-friendly format, and the well-organized schedule once again made the Sommerlauf a highlight in the regional running calendar. Triple Sportevents used the run, as usual, as their second season highlight after the Flensburg City Run in March.
