Overview
In 2025, the German-Japanese Society once again invited visitors to the Hanami Cherry Blossom Festival in the Japanese Garden of IGA Park Rostock. Under the blooming cherry trees, visitors experienced Japanese martial arts, Taiko drumming, tea ceremony, workshops, and culinary specialties. Cosplayers rounded off Hanami 2025.
The Hanami Cherry Blossom Festival 2025 once again transformed the Japanese Garden in IGA Park Rostock into a place of Japanese culture. During the cherry blossom season, visitors were treated to a colorful spring program.
As every year, the German-Japanese Society of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern organized the festival with martial arts demonstrations, Taiko drumming, Go games, bonsai, workshops, tea ceremony, and Japanese specialties. Cosplayers completed the Hanami 2025 experience.
