Hammer Fez — Hammer Street Festival Münster — Edition 2025

In 2025, the traditional Hammer Street Festival was canceled — a painful decision by the volunteer organizers, whose association finances could no longer cover the exploding security requirements. The cancellation was announced in early summer and caused palpable reactions in Münster: many regretted the loss of a summer fixture. At the same time, the Aktions- und Werbegemeinschaft Hammer Straße used the break to revise the concept — leaner, more local, renamed "Hammer Fez". The comeback will take place in 2026.
