36 Years of Wine Festival Tradition
In 2026, the Hamelner Weinfest will mark its 36th edition, making it one of Lower Saxony's most traditional wine festivals. Over the decades, the event has become a staple in the North German wine scene.
Bürgergarten Hameln
The Bürgergarten Hameln is a historic park that, with its tranquil atmosphere and old trees, offers the perfect setting for a wine festival. With approximately 2,000 seats, many visitors can enjoy wine tastings simultaneously.
Vintners from Four Wine-Growing Regions
Vintners from the Rheinhessen, Pfalz, Franken, and Mosel wine-growing regions will present their wines. The selection includes Riesling, Silvaner, Müller-Thurgau, Spätburgunder, and many other varieties – a representative overview of German wine diversity.
Thursday Opening with Free Admission
On Thursday, July 16, 2026, from 4 PM to 10 PM, the wine festival opens with free admission. This offers a low entry barrier for working professionals and spontaneous guests.
Regular Program Friday and Saturday
