Hamburger Theaternacht

As every year in September, the Hamburg stages opened their doors simultaneously in 2025. The spectrum ranged from the large Schauspielhaus to independent off-theaters and neighborhood stages. The official aftershow at the Schmidtchen marked the transition into the night.

With over 200 program items and more than 30 stages, the Theaternacht remains one of the city's richest cultural showcases. The format has its firm place in Hamburg's late summer calendar — and is an ideal introduction for visitors wanting to get to know Hamburg's stage scene.
