The Sommer DOM 2025 ran from July 25 to August 24, classically over four weeks. Over 200 showman businesses set up their rides and stalls on the Heiligengeistfeld, every Friday at 10:30 PM the grand fireworks display lit up the sky above St. Pauli. Several million visitors came over the four weeks.

Sommer DOM 2025 – A Classic Four-Week Run

From July 25 to August 24, 2025, the Sommer DOM transformed the Heiligengeistfeld into its familiar folk festival cosmos. The weekly grand fireworks display on Friday evening was, as every year, the secret highlight and attracted thousands of visitors from Hamburg and the surrounding area.

Proven classics like the large Ferris wheel with views of the Elbphilharmonie and the Reeperbahn, the Crazy Mouse Coaster, pendulum rides, haunted houses, shooting galleries, and Pfeffernuss stands characterized the festival grounds. Wednesday Family Days with reduced prices remained an attraction for parents with children.

The organizers drew a positive conclusion at the end – consistently high visitor numbers and a calm security situation. Based on this success, the city decided to exceptionally grant the Sommer DOM an extra fifth week in 2026.
