Overview

The Frühlingsdom 2025 ran for four weeks on the Heiligengeistfeld, once again recording the typical key figures of Hamburg's major Volksfest: over 250 showmen, more than 50 rides, three fireworks displays, and the Family Wednesday with a 30% discount. The DOM tradition confirmed its place as North Germany's largest funfair.

The 2025 spring edition once again offered the full spectrum of Hamburg's funfair tradition: carousels, roller coasters, ring toss games, Hamburg's "Schmalzgebäck" (fried dough pastries), Pilsner beer, and candied almonds. The Hamburg-Mitte District Office organised the DOM in cooperation with the Landesverband d. Ambulanten Gewerbes & d. Schausteller Hamburg (State Association of the Mobile Trades & Showmen Hamburg).

Like every spring edition for years, the three fireworks displays (opening, Easter Sunday, closing) at 10:30 PM each were a crowd-puller. The Family Wednesday, with discounts on rides and food, once again proved to be a weekly highlight for young parents.
