Edition 2025 — Port Anniversary
The 836th Hamburg Port Anniversary in May 2025 once again brought around one million visitors to the Hamburg harbour front. Three days of ship parade, tugboat ballet, concerts, and fireworks marked one of the city's most traditional summer openings. Ships from all over the world filled the Elbe; open-air concerts were spread across several stages.
The 836th Port Anniversary in 2025 took place from May 9 to 11. The traditional program elements – arrival parade, tugboat ballet, "Elbe in Concert", ship tours, and departure parade – attracted around one million visitors along the harbour front.
Open-air concerts on several stages complemented the maritime program. The grand fireworks display on Saturday evening was once again visible across large parts of the city centre and remained the highlight of the festival weekend. With the 2025 Port Anniversary, Hamburg reaffirmed its status as a global port.
