Edition 2025 — Halloween Run
In 2025, the Landschaftspark Duisburg-Nord was once again transformed on Halloween evening into a running landscape between blast furnaces and Halloween effects. Hundreds of runners of all levels, many in elaborate costumes, completed the distances from 500 m to 10 km. The atmosphere of industrial monument, light show, and sporting event made the event once again one of the most atmospheric fun runs in NRW.
The 2025 edition followed the proven concept of the Halloween Run: distances for all levels, costumed participants, light show in the Landschaftspark Duisburg-Nord.
The mix of a fun run and Halloween party once again attracted runners from the entire Ruhr area, the Lower Rhine, and the neighboring Netherlands. Families benefited from the Bambini and Pupils' runs, while ambitious amateur athletes ran the 5 and 10 km distances in the dark among the illuminated steel furnaces. The costume awards afterwards honored the most creative performances.
