Overview

The Hallertauer Bierfestival 2024 took place as the seventh edition in Attenkirchen. Over 100 regional and craft beers were offered for tasting in the town center. The motto »Small Glasses, Big Beers« attracted beer lovers from all over Bavaria and Southern Germany to the Freising district. Live music and hop-themed programs characterized the festival weekend.

The seventh edition in 2024 confirmed the successful concept of the Hallertauer Bierfestival. Over 100 different beers — Hallertau breweries and craft beer manufacturers from Bavaria, Baden-Württemberg, Hesse, and beyond — were served in small tasting glasses.

The biennial format (every two years) has the advantage of building anticipation and collecting new ideas for each edition. In 2024, hop-centric varieties (Pale Ale, IPA) and sour beers were particularly in focus, complemented by traditional Bavarian wheat beers and Helles styles.
