Hagnau Wine Festival — Brass Music by the Lake

The 2025 edition of the Hagnau Wine Festival took place in August 2025 at the Alter Torkel in Hagnau's Uferpark. The Hagnau Music Association e.V. continued its tradition, maintained since 1976, and hosted guests on the Torkel meadow — right on the shore of Lake Constance between the town hall and the mini-golf course. Only wines from the Hagnau Winegrowers' Association, produced since 1881 in Germany's second oldest winegrowers' cooperative, were served. The menu included tarte flambée from the wood-fired oven, grilled bratwurst, steaks, and Lake Constance fish. Regional brass bands provided the musical accompaniment under the motto “Blasmusik am See”. Each guest received the traditional unbreakable wine glass as a souvenir. The festival once again confirmed its reputation as one of the most atmospheric summer festivals on Lake Constance.
