Overview

In 2025, the HafenCity Run once again gathered several thousand runners at Baakenhöft. Corporate teams and individual runners completed the approx. 4.5 km route through Hamburg's youngest district without timing, at a group pace. The proceeds went to Hamburger Abendblatt hilft e.V. – the charitable foundation of the Hamburg local newspaper.

The 2025 edition continued the proven concept of the HafenCity Run: a charity and corporate run through Hamburg's youngest district, starting at Baakenhöft. Several thousand participants from Hamburg companies completed the approx. 4.5 km route without timing, at a group pace.

The charity partner, as every year, was Hamburger Abendblatt hilft e.V. The organizer was BMS Die Laufgesellschaft mbH. The HafenCity Run once again confirmed its reputation as Northern Germany's largest corporate and charity run.
