The Harbour Christmas Market 2025 at the Chocolate Museum once again attracted hundreds of thousands of visitors to the Rheinau. The maritime staging with ship masts, ropes, and wooden stalls offered the unique atmosphere that distinguishes this market from all other Cologne Christmas markets. Mulled wine, arts and crafts, potato pancakes, and local Cologne Advent carols — directly on the Rhine, with views of the swing bridge and Kranhäuser.
In 2025, HWK Hafenweihnachtsmarkt Köln GmbH continued its tradition. Seven weeks of Advent atmosphere between Volkstrauertag and Epiphany, supported by its unique location on the Rheinauhafen and its maritime concept.
With over 25 years of experience, the market is a firm fixture on Cologne's Advent calendar. Its integration with the neighbouring Chocolate Museum and the Cologne Giant Ferris Wheel makes the market a complete family outing destination — many guests spend half a day in the area.
