Edition 2025 — Haarer Volksfest
The second edition of the Haarer Volksfest took place again in the summer of 2025 on the circus meadow on the B 304. As at the premiere festival in 2023, Schmidt Festzeltbetrieb and the municipality of Haar hosted thousands of guests in the beer tent with Wildbräu, Bavarian delicacies, and live music. The parade, a family afternoon, and the traditional transition to the cultural week SOMMA in der Stadt characterized the program.
The Haarer Volksfest 2025, as its second edition, reaffirmed the concept of a local, community-oriented Volksfest for Haar and the eastern Munich region. On the circus meadow along the B 304, Schmidt Festzeltbetrieb once again set up the festival tent with around 1,400 seats, serving Wildbräu beer from Grafing.
Bavarian brass bands and cover bands ensured full tables in the evenings, while the parade from St. Konrad Church brought together traditional costume groups and clubs from Haar and the surrounding area. Showmen, amusement rides, and a dedicated family afternoon with discounted prices rounded off the Volksfest program. As in 2023, the cultural week »SOMMA in der Stadt« followed after the festival concluded.
