About Haardter WeinNacht
The Haardter WeinNacht is one of the most sophisticated Palatinate autumn evening events. Unlike the large daytime wine festivals — such as the Quetschekuchekerwe in September — the WeinNacht focuses on an concentrated, intimate evening atmosphere with candlelight, subdued lighting, and carefully curated wine flights.
The 2026 edition takes place on Saturday, October 24, 2026 — a typical late autumn date, when the Palatinate wine harvest is complete and the vintners have time for a special evening encounter with their guests. The venue is the Mandelring in Haardt — the famous main street of the top wine village, which becomes a tunnel of almond blossoms in March and shows a completely different, autumnal, intimate atmosphere in October.
The participating wineries are the top Haardter producers — many of them VDP members or regularly highly rated in renowned wine guides:
- Müller-Catoir — one of the most prestigious Palatinate wineries, globally recognized for its Rieslings from the Grand Cru vineyards (Große Lagen).
- Weegmüller — a traditional family winery with consistently highly rated wines.
- Oliver Zeter — award-winning specialist for Sauvignon Blanc and elegant Palatinate styles.

During the WeinNacht, the wineries open their courtyards and cellars in the evening for wine tasting. Guests can stroll from courtyard to courtyard — creating their own wine tour through the Mandelring, tasting selected wines at each stop and conversing with the vintners or their teams.
The evening atmosphere is the special feature: candles, torches, subdued lighting, Palatinate autumn scenery.
