Overview

The 2025 LebensArt Christmas market at Gut Basthorst ran in its proven five-weekend format from mid-November to mid-December 2025. The opening as a "Pre-Christmas Bazaar" preceded four Advent market weekends. Arts and crafts, home inspiration, culinary manufactories, and the festive ambiance of the historic estate made the market one of the most atmospheric Advent markets in Northern Germany.

2025 Advent Market

The 2025 edition ran in the classic LebensArt format over five weekends. The Pre-Christmas Bazaar as the opening, followed by four Advent market weekends, proved successful again. Arts and crafts stalls in the barns, culinary manufactories in the courtyards, festive lighting of the entire estate — Gut Basthorst once again attracted thousands of visitors from the greater Hamburg area, Schleswig-Holstein, and western Mecklenburg in 2025.

Programme

Five weekends of Advent market with the LebensArt series: Pre-Christmas Bazaar in mid-November, followed by four Advent weekends. Program Fri 2 PM–8 PM, Sat/Sun 10 AM–7 PM.
