The 2025 spring city festival Gütersloh blüht auf once again opened the city center event season. Combined with the first Sunday shopping event of the year, the festival at Berliner Platz featured floral arrangements, hands-on workshops for children, and a pop-up playground at Kolbeplatz. The city center shops were open.

The 2025 edition of Gütersloh blüht auf once again proved the concept of a family-friendly, spring-themed city festival combined with Sunday shopping. The sea of flowers at Berliner Platz, the workshops on Easter decorations and planting pots, and the district rally for children structured the five-hour festival afternoon. The growing appeal to visitors from Bielefeld and Paderborn confirmed the regional success of the format.

Programme

1 PM–6 PM city festival with workshops and playground, Sunday shopping in the city center.
