On Ascension Day, the Grötzinger Weinmarkt 2025 once again brought together families and wine lovers from Karlsruhe on the Rathausplatz Grötzingen. The Hottscheck Narrenzunft served steaks, Maultaschen, and regional wines, while the Hexenjugend organized the children's program.

At the Grötzinger Weinmarkt 2025, the Hottscheck Narrenzunft opened its guild kitchen and wine cellar again on Ascension Day. On the Rathausplatz Grötzingen, steaks and roast sizzled on the charcoal grill, Maultaschen came from the pan, beer was served on tap, and carefully selected wines from the Baden region were poured. In the afternoon, the guild served coffee, waffles, and homemade cakes. The Hexenjugend took care of the youngest guests with face painting and games, while the Hottscheck-Hexen, Feurige Männer, and Noten-Chaoten, in their Carnival costumes, provided the musical accompaniment. A unique Karlsruhe district festival atmosphere that distinguishes the Grötzinger Weinmarkt from other wine events.
