In 2025, the Trachtenverein D'Rötlstoana Groß- und Kleinweil once again invited to the traditional village festival at Großweil Village Square. Traditional costume wearers, folk music, and Upper Bavarian delicacies characterized the festival Sunday in the Werdenfelser Land — an annual constant of village life.
The 2025 edition of the Großweil village festival confirmed the firm anchoring of this festival in the club life of the small Upper Bavarian municipality. The Trachtenverein D'Rötlstoana kept the tradition alive with Schuhplattler dances, Stubnmusi, and catering — a constant that has shaped social life in Großweil for generations.
Such small village festivals are the backbone of rural Upper Bavarian festival culture — without tourist staging, supported by the clubs and families of the village, with the typical charm of the Werdenfelser region between Murnauer Moos and Staffelsee.
