Overview

The Großes Marktfest Fladungen 2025 took place on September 21, the third Sunday in September. As every year, the old town of Bavaria's northernmost town transformed into a large open market with flea markets, a children's play street, and Rhön specialties from 11 a.m.

In 2025, the traditional market day once again attracted thousands of visitors from the Rhön and the neighboring regions of Thuringia and Hesse to Fladungen. Stalls with arts and crafts, regional products, and clothing were spread across the market square and the historic alleys of the old town.

The professional flea market near Dr.-Höffling-Straße and the youth flea market organized by Fladungen youth initiatives complemented the scene. The children's play street and culinary classics like Zwiebelplootz and bratwurst created a family atmosphere in Bavaria's northernmost town.
