Overview

The Großer Fasnetsumzug Singen 2025 paraded through the city center in early March with around 70 groups. As every year, the Poppele-Zunft 1860 organized this major event of the Swabian-Alemannic Carnival on the Hochrhein — featuring jester guilds from Hegau, Bodensee, Schwarzwald, and Switzerland, Fastnachtsverbrennen, and the Singemer Fasnetsnacht.

In March 2025, the Großer Fasnetsumzug of the Poppele-Zunft once again took place with around 70 participating groups. The Swabian-Alemannic Carnival showed its most traditional side: historical Häs figures with hand-carved wooden masks, witch guilds, Hänsele, Guggenmusiken, and music bands from the entire Hegau-Bodensee region filled the city center.

Despite unpredictable weather with gray clouds and rain, the audience showed typical Carnival patience — thousands of spectators lined the route as every year. Afterwards, the traditional Fastnachtsverbrennen and the Singemer Fasnetsnacht took place.
